Hello from Texas!

 

Hi, readers. I'm Jerry, and I'm so glad you're here. Writing is a solitary and sometimes lonely pursuit, so it's a treat to connect with the folks the books end up with, even if it's an e-connection. Welcome to my little corner of the Internet!

 

I grew up in the flatlands of the Mississippi Delta, a place and culture all its own that is forever engrained in all I am and do. As an adult, I migrated to the hills, first to attend Ole Miss in Oxford--Hotty Toddy, y'all!--and I eventually settled with my family in Tupelo. I spent a long time there in the birthplace of Elvis and I still miss it daily. In 2005, I made the trek to Houston, Texas, where I still live and write from today.

 

When I'm not writing, I love to get lost in the stories of others. I love storytelling in almost any format, from books to TV to movies to theater. I'm an avid college football fan, especially SEC football and quadruple especially Ole Miss football. I cook a mean ribeye on the grill, and would gladly share with you if I could.
